This year for Spring break we originally had plans to travel to California. I was so excited to finally have a vacation and it was almost a year to the day since our last visit. This time I wanted to make sure we had a chance to visit the beach. Unexpectedly, a few days before we our departure, plans changed. Frantically, I looked for other ideas. We considered staying local and traveling to visit a Texas beach but the weather forecast for the weekend would bring rain showers. Ultimately we decided to stay home and honestly it was the best decision. One day we visited the local Sprinkles shop and enjoyed cupcakes. The kids enjoyed being able to select their cupcakes from the vending machine, so cool! Isn’t it funny how life works? We make plans and then, things change. Some of life’s most amazing moments just happen, they aren’t planned.
