A Mexico Inspired Staycation

It’s been so long since we’ve had a night alone, it was last September actually. I’ve been wanting to visit Mexico but with so much going on we decided to stay local and have a Staycation. Living in Texas with three children and no in-state family support requires being creative to find alone time. Although, we’ve lived in Texas for almost 6 years now, I still can’t believe how much there is to see and do without ever leaving the state. Having a great vacation doesn’t mean you have to travel far. One goal I have is to explore more of what Texas has to offer. During our staycation we decided to stay at the Texican Court Hotel which gave all of the Mexican vibes we were wanting.

We decided to book the couples night package which included champagne and chocolate covered fruit. The room decor was so vibrant, the TX on the bathroom tile and the blue wardrobe were very nice touches. Snacks were provided in the room along with a fully stocked SMEG refrigerator.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Texican. We would certainly stay again!
