Fall is finally here and it’s time to take full advantage of it! There are so many fun fall activities that you may not even get to do them all! So I did what any other person would do and created a fall bucket list. This bucket list is a list of things you must do this fall to get the full fall effect!
#1. Visit A Pumpkin Patch
Of course, this is #1! Visiting a pumpkin patch is one of my favorite things to do! Whether it is just me and the hubby or a family affair, it is fun for all ages! While you are there you definitely have to pick out a few pumpkins to bring home. It’s so much fun for the kids to be creative and decorate their own pumpkins. You could even have a pumpkin carving contest! Also, don’t forget to snap a few pics in the pumpkin patch; these make for great memories and cute pictures to show off to your family and friends.
#2. Decorate Your Front Porch
Who doesn’t love a decorated porch? This makes the home feel cozy and ready for the holidays! Decorating pumpkins straight from the pumpkin patch are a must. However, if you happen to be far from a pumpkin patch, any supermarket will have them in stock. Another must-have is a beautiful fall wreath covered in the vibrant colors of the season. Mums add a festive touch as well as perfectly placed scarecrows and an occasional bale of hay.
#3. Buy Fall Scented Candles
Now, this is a must! I’m such a sucker for candles, and fall-scented candles happen to be at the top of my favorites. So many brands offer wonderful smelling scents for fall. A few of my favorites are Pumpkin Bourbon by The Collection, Harvest Spice by Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, Vanilla + Bergamot by Threshold, and Vanilla in the glass pumpkin by Threshold.
#4. Take Fall Photos
Last but not least is another fave of mine…taking fall photos! During fall, I love adding fall photos to my home. Pictures where the leaves on the trees are changing colors into beautiful hues of orange and red. You can also showcase all your cute fall outfits with the new fall photos that you take! Ask your photographer to find a place with leaves – kids jumping into piles of leaves makes for a fun lifestyle shot.
